Sweet Kumara!

Kumara is packed with Vitamins A and C, iron, calcium, protein, beta carotene…the list goes on! It’s no wonder that they are recommended by nutritionists for good health.

In fact, the CSPI calls the sweet potato (also known as kumara in New Zealand) a nutritional All-Star and has ranked it number one in nutrition of all vegetables!

A traditional autumn harvest vegetable, kumara is available all year long. They are also very easy to digest making them an ideal first food for babies :)
