IE: Produce at 1 Barrys Point Road in Takapuna. Of course, if you live on the North Shore in Auckland, you are probably a regular already :) They simply have the best organic and conventional produce in town, plus the cheapest organic milk around.

from our friends at Nature Baby...
Pumpkin or butternut is a perfect first food for baby that’s easily pureed and full of rich flavours and bright colour. It’s also high in fibre, beta-carotene, protein and potassium. Combined with quinoa enriched baby cereal you also get the goodness essential amino acids, magnesium, iron and vitamin B-6.
Here’s how we made ours:
1 cup of peeled and chopped butternut or pumpkin
Babynat First Flavour Organic Infant Cereal
Boil, steam or bake pumpkin until tender. Mash and whip with a fork until creamy and smooth, using a little of the reserved cooking water if needed. Prepare baby cereal with breast milk or water as per package instructions and then stir in approximately 2 tablespoons of the prepared cereal into pumpkin mixture. Delicious!
Baby can enjoy this meal today and you can store the rest in perfect portions in your mumi&bubi Solids Starter Kit baby food storage trays. Purchase online at mumi&bubi, or in store at Nature Baby Newmarket and Grey Lynn.

Congratulations to our friends at Lamington on their recent Kids Fashion Review WIN! Their socks are a fav in our house. Isobel loves her stripy "reminos" and her dotty "reminos" and especially the ones that match her brother Max's "reminos"...(merinos!)

Great article! I totally believe that babies should eat what their parents are eating, and be introduced to those foods during the process of becoming a more experienced eater. Not only does this prevent fussy eaters, but babies truly LOVE flavour and exploring different textures from a wide variety of food as their palettes develop.

From our friends at Real Farmacy.
The squirrels have spoken..
7 Reasons to Never Eat GMO ►►http://www.realfarmacy.com
Nature knows best, love those squirrels. If there is one thing you can do to ensure a long and healthy life for your baby, whatever else you do....avoid GMO's. Mums can make a difference to big companies simply by saying no to GMO.
